Todo empezó con un sueño: traer el swing y el rock n' roll a Bariloche. Hace 10 años, fundamos la primera escuela en Bariloche, Andanzas, creando una comunidad que hoy vibra con identidad propia. Este festival no es solo un evento; es el cierre de un ciclo y el comienzo de una nueva era para nuestra escena local. ¡Vení a ser parte de nuestra historia!
It all started with a dream: bringing swing and rock n' roll to the other end of the world. Ten years ago, we founded the first dance school in Bariloche, Andanzas, building a community that now vibrates with its own unique identity. This festival isn't just an event; it's the celebration of a journey and the start of a new era for our local scene. Join us and be part of our history!

Vendrán a compartir con nosotros este festival, dos profesores internacionales: Fancy y Nejc (E.E.U.U, Eslovenia) y dos profesores nacionales Gladys y Javier (Bs As).
Two international instructors: Fancy and Nejc (USA & Slovenia) and two national instructors, Gladys and Javier (Bs As) will be coming to share their passion and knowledge with us at this year's festival.
Fancy Dougherty
Directamente desde Los Ángeles, California, Fancy (su nombre real) se enamoró del lindy y del shag en 2008, y poco después del Balboa. Nunca dejó bailar desde ese entonces, empeñada en perfeccionar su técnica como parte de una búsqueda interminable por entender y construir la conexión, la libertad para improvisar en el baile social y el verdadero espíritu jitterbug.
Ha realizado exhibiciones, competido y enseñado lindy, balboa y shag por todo el mundo, y se ha coronado cinco veces campeona de la división de Shag en el National Jitterbug Championships. Le encanta bailar con gente nueva y principiantes, ¡así que no dudes en sacarla a bailar!Visitá su Web
Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Fancy (a birth name) fell in love with Lindy and Shag in 2008, with Balboa trailing not far behind. She’s been hooked ever since, constantly endeavoring to improve her technique on a never-ending quest for connection, improvisational freedom in social dancing and the true jitterbug spirit. She has performed, competed in and taught Lindy, Balboa and Shag all over the world, and is a five-time winner of the National Jitterbug Championships in the shag division. Nejc Zupan
Nejc se volcó al swing allá por el 2003, impulsado por su formación en danza contemporánea y un profundo amor por la música jazz. Gracias a esto, se convirtió en el principal responsable de popularizar el lindy hop y el balboa en Eslovenia a principios de los 2000.
Su experiencia en el baile swing es el fruto de una investigación interminable sobre diferentes formas de danza, muchísimos workshops internacionales y su humilde predisposición para seguir aprendiendo de cualquiera que esté dispuesto a enseñarle. Presta especial atención al movimiento de jazz y a la musicalidad, ambos elementos esenciales para cualquier baile de la era del swing.Visitá su Instagram
Nejc started dancing swing back in 2003 as a result of his contemporary dance experience and a strong love for jazz music. Because of this he became a main culprit for popularization of Lindy Hop and Balboa in Slovenia in the early 2000s.His Swing dance experience is a collection of endless research into different dance forms, many international workshops and his humble willingness to keep learning from anybody who is willing to teach him. He pays special attention to jazz movement and musicality, both quintessential to any Swing dancing.Check out his Instagram
Gladys Saluzzo y Javier Bertino
Gladys y Javier, oriundos de Buenos Aires, son una pareja de bailarines y docentes unidos por una pasión inquebrantable: el rock and roll. Su historia compartida en las pistas comenzó en 2011, recorriendo las tradicionales rockerías y los eventos más emblemáticos de Capital Federal y el Gran Buenos Aires, forjando un estilo auténtico y con fuerte arraigo social.A partir del 2014, decidieron volcar toda esa experiencia a la enseñanza como instructores, bajo una filosofía clara donde el baile es inclusión absoluta: todo el mundo baila, sin excepción. Esa versatilidad y soltura los ha llevado a desplegar su danza tanto en espacios comunitarios y barrios populares, como en los salones más prestigiosos, incluyendo el Hotel Sheraton.A lo largo de su carrera, han puesto su arte al servicio de los demás, participando activamente en numerosos eventos a beneficio. Asimismo, han medido su talento en el ámbito de la competencia, obteniendo resultados sumamente satisfactorios que respaldan su calidad técnica.Sin embargo, más allá de los escenarios y los trofeos, su verdadero legado está en las aulas. Gladys and Javier, originally from Buenos Aires, are a dance and teaching couple with an unwavering passion: rock and roll. Their shared history on the dance floor began in 2011, as they frequented the traditional rock clubs ("rockerías") and the most iconic events across Capital Federal and Gran Buenos Aires, forging an authentic style with deep social roots. It is important to highlight that the rock and roll we dance in Argentina is different from the rock and roll danced in the rest of the world, due to the influence of our native dances: tango, and folklore.In 2014, they decided to channel all that experience into teaching as instructors, guided by a clear philosophy: dance means absolute inclusion. Everyone dances, without exception. This versatility and ease has allowed them to share their dance everywhere from community spaces and working-class neighborhoods to the most prestigious venues, including the Sheraton Hotel.Throughout their career, they have put their art at the service of others, actively participating in numerous benefit events. They have also tested their talent in the competitive arena, achieving highly successful results that showcase their technical quality.However, beyond stages and trophies, their true legacy lies in the classroom. Las clases de rock and roll y de swing con Javier y Gladys, y Fancy y Nejc serán de nivel intermedio (bajo y alto) y avanzado. Las clases para iniciales y principiantes serán gratuitas y estarán a cargo de Melina.

The Rock and Roll and Swing classes with Javier and Gladys, and Fancy and Nejc, will be for intermediate (low and high) and advanced levels. Classes for absolute beginners and beginners will be free of charge and taught by Melina.

Competencias - Competitions
Campeonato de rock´n roll (parejas fijas)
Formato: parejas ya conformadas que se inscriben juntas
Criterio: se evalúa la coreografía, la técnica y el estilo.
Nivel: no hay requisito de nivel.
.Viernes: presentación y preliminares. Cada pareja hace una prresentación breve de X tiempos, para que el público y el jurado los conozca.
Sábado: semifinales. sube la temperatura y la exigencia técnica. Las parejas bailan 3 tandas de X tiempos y el jurado evalúa quiénes pasan a la final del domingo.
Domingo: la gran final. Cada pareja tiene un "spotlight" (baile individual de X tiempos solos en la pista), y luego un "All-skate" (toos bailan juntos en la pista por X iempos).
La pareja ganadora se llavará como premio 50% cada uno del valor del Pase Full del PASFEST 2028.

Rock and Roll Competition (fixed couples)
Format: Already formed couples who register together.
Criteria: Choreography, technique, and style are evaluated.
Level: No level requirement.
Friday: Presentation and preliminaries. Each couple makes a brief presentation of X counts, so the audience and the jury get to know them.
Saturday: Semifinals. The technical demand rises. Couples dance 3 rounds of X counts and the jury evaluates who moves on to Sunday's Grand Finale.
Sunday: The Grand Finale. Each couple has a "Spotlight" (individual dance of X counts alone on the floor), and then an "All-skate" (everyone dances together on the floor for X counts).
The winning couple will receive as a prize 50% discount each of the value of the PASFEST 2028 Full Pass.

Competencia M&M de Lindy charleston (Mix´n match)
Formato: inscripción individual como lider o follower. Las parejas se sortean en el momento
Criterio: se evalúa la capcidad de improvisación, ritmo y conexión con los diferentes compañeros.
Nivel: no hay requisito de nivel.
Viernes: preliminares del M&M. Rondas de "All-skate" (todos en la pista) con cambio de pareja aleatorio. Los jueces seleccionan de forma individual a los semifinalistas.
Sábado: semifinales. Varias rondas de "heats" (temas en los que bailan todos en la pista por X tiempos). Los jueces eligen s los semifinalistas individuales.
Domingo: La Gran Final. Se sortean las parejas definitivas. Bailan un bloque de X tiempos lentos y luego otro bloque de X tiempos de música más rápida para demostrar su versatilidad.
La pareja ganadora se llavará como premio 50% cada uno del valor del Pase Full del PASFEST 2028.

Lindy charleston M&M (Mix´n match)
Format: Individual registration as leader or follower. Couples are drawn before the first round.
Criteria: The ability for improvisation, rhythm, and connection with different partners is evaluated.
Level: No level requirement.
Friday: M&M preliminaries. "All-skate" rounds (everyone on the floor) with random partner changes. Judges individually select the semifinalists.
Saturday: Semifinals. Several rounds of "heats" (songs where everyone dances on the floor for X counts). Judges choose the individual finalists.
Sunday: The Grand Final. Final couples are drawn. They dance a block of X slow counts and then another block of X counts of faster music to demonstrate their versatility.
The winning couple will receive as a prize 50% discount each of the value of the PASFEST 2028 Full Pass.

Ubicada en el corazón de la Patagonia argentina, a orillas del imponente Lago Nahuel Huapi, Bariloche es uno de los destinos más emblemáticos del país. Es mundialmente famosa por su arquitectura de estilo alpino, su producción de chocolate artesanal y sus paisajes de montañas y bosques milenarios que parecen sacados de un cuento.Durante la época del festival, la ciudad se viste con los colores del otoño, ofreciendo un clima ideal para disfrutar de actividades al aire libre. Podés recorrer el Circuito Chico para admirar las vistas panorámicas, subir en aerosilla al Cerro Campanario, realizar caminatas por los senderos del Parque Nacional o simplemente relajarte frente al lago. La gastronomía regional, con sus casas de té y cervecerías artesanales, es el complemento perfecto para cerrar un día de baile.
Para moverte por la ciudad, el transporte público es una opción, aunque las frecuencias suelen ser limitadas. Es importante tener en cuenta que no se puede pagar en efectivo: es obligatorio el uso de la tarjeta SUBE, que se puede adquirir y cargar en diversos kioskos del centro y de los kilómetros. Por eso, siempre recomendamos consultar aplicaciones como Uber o Cabify o, mejor aún, contactar otros participantes del festival para coordinar traslados y compartir viáticos; una forma práctica y divertida de empezar a hacer comunidad.
